MetisPilot is a sales engagement and communication platform that helps users manage contacts, campaigns, inbox activity, and third-party messaging or email workflows.

Information we collect

Account data, such as your name, email address, profile photo, organization information, and login identifiers.

Authentication and integration data from Google or Microsoft, such as your account identifier, email address, profile metadata, and tokens required to maintain authorized access.

Contact and messaging data that you upload, sync, create, or send through MetisPilot, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, tags, custom fields, and message history.

WhatsApp-related data needed to enable approved messaging workflows, such as business phone identifiers, templates, recipient phone numbers, message status events, and webhook payloads.

Technical and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, device information, log events, and feature usage telemetry.

How we use personal data

To create and secure your account and provide the MetisPilot service.

To authenticate you using Google or Microsoft and maintain your authorized session.

To connect approved integrations, including WhatsApp, Google, and Microsoft services, and perform actions you request through those integrations.

To send, receive, organize, and analyze business communications and campaign activity.

To provide customer support, respond to legal requests, prevent misuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.

To improve product reliability, monitor performance, and develop product features.

Google and Microsoft sign-in data

When you choose Google sign-in or Microsoft sign-in, we access only the account information and scopes that are requested during the consent flow and approved by you. We use that information solely to authenticate your account, maintain integration functionality, and provide features you explicitly enable.

We do not sell Google or Microsoft user data. We do not use Google or Microsoft user data for advertising. We limit use of OAuth-derived data to the purposes disclosed in this Policy and to the functionality the user has requested.

WhatsApp integration data

If you connect WhatsApp through Meta, we process recipient phone numbers, message content, template identifiers, delivery events, and related webhook data only as necessary to provide messaging features requested by you or your organization.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate legal basis and any required consent before using MetisPilot to send WhatsApp messages or upload recipient information.

Legal bases and user responsibilities

Depending on your jurisdiction, we process personal data based on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, or compliance with legal obligations. Where you upload or send third-party data through MetisPilot, you are responsible for ensuring that your collection and use of that data complies with applicable law.

Sharing and disclosure

With service providers and infrastructure vendors that help us host, secure, monitor, or support MetisPilot.

With Meta, Google, Microsoft, or other connected platforms when required to complete an integration action you initiate.

With competent authorities, courts, regulators, or advisors where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.

In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data handling safeguards.

Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, the integration involved, and whether a user or organization deletes an account or disconnects an integration.

Data deletion and account deletion

You may request deletion of your MetisPilot account or personal data by contacting support@metispilot.com. If you disconnect Google, Microsoft, or Meta integrations, associated access tokens and linked integration data will be removed or deactivated according to our retention and backup processes.

If you believe MetisPilot holds data relating to a WhatsApp integration, Google sign-in, or Microsoft sign-in that should be deleted, you may submit a request through support@metispilot.com. We may ask for verification before completing the request.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps designed to ensure that cross-border transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards under applicable law.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of your personal data, subject to applicable law.

You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, although this will not affect processing already carried out.

You may object to certain processing activities or request portability where applicable.

You may lodge a complaint with an applicable data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

Children

MetisPilot is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by applicable law in the user’s jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for the purpose of providing the service.
